Student Performance
Eighty-two percent of the students who took both the pre-test and the post text scored eighty percent or above.

Action
Course Evolution
As Spring Semester 2015 progressed it became obvious that the students were not ready to create and evaluate sources for an annotated bibliogra[hy.  Changes were made to assignments and the course focuses on helping the student understand what tools exist for their research, both on campus and online, how and when to use them, as wella s why and how to evaluate want they find.  There are pieces to help them understand topics and thesis statements. Next next time the course is offered it will focus on how to do searches with evaluations, expanding on the changes made Spring Semester, to determine if they understood the material presented. Rather than the annotated bibliography the assignments will allow the student to create a short bibliography, not annotated, relevant to a subject that they will have been using all semester to do practice searches with, along with search terms and using Boolean operators.

Update to previous cycle's plan for continuous improvement

Labels that students felt more clearly identified types of resources and that should be grouped together were identified.  The navigation menus on the web page were re-labeled and re-organized based on the recommendation of the study participants.

The revised survey was put on hold because on the addition 2 new reference librarians.

Library's presence in social media continues and a library guide was developed to outline the use of social media; a paper was given at TLA and an award was presented to the Library and the Librarians who implemented the guide.

Collaboration tables are in use and were and will continue to be publized on the library website.

Plan for continuous improvement Investigate adding book reviews to the online catalog.

Revise the Policy and Procedure for digital born items.  Prioritize the items previously inventoried to make them more accessible.

Continue to evaluate assignments and replace the content as necessary.

A revised survey will be sent to faculty members to determine the impact of the embedded librarian program on student learning in online classes
