Dr. Debra D. Andist, chair of Foreign Languages/Professor of Spanish, serves as the University's liaison to the Hispanic American Colleges & Universites (HACU), forwarding email and advisements as appropriate. She organized attendance at the annual meeting in Denver in Oct. 2013 by administrators from each of SHSU's Colleges. She arranged attendance at the annual forum in Washington in Apr. 2014 by students from each of SHSU's colleges.
