Goal
Professional Development Of Divisional Staff
The office of student services research and assessment will be committed to assisting divisional staff in creating meaningful assessment projects as well as further their professional development through a series of presentations, lectures, webinars/seminars.
Objective
Development And Promotion Of Programs
Divisional staff, including student employees, will enhance their existing knowledge as well as gain new information regarding student services assessment, research, and development topics by attending seminars, presentations, and webinars.

Training Sessions
A variety of assessment-related presentations, webinars, and seminars will be offered during the 2012-2013 academic year. A survey will be administered at the conclusion of each event thereby measuring the effectiveness and participant's satisfaction with the program. Each survey will allow for feedback regarding topics to be offered in future training as well as general comments about the presentation.

A total of nine programs were conducted during the 2013-14 period. Based upon the survey results, it was determined that there was replication of several programs offerred by the Division of Student Services and other campus programs (i.e. Human Resources and the University's Assessment office.

Based upon the survey results, it was determined that there was replication of several programs offerred by the Division of Student Services and other campus programs (i.e. Human Resources and the University's Assessment office. For these reasons, more collaboration will take place with other campus departments in providing seminars and training that will not be replications. The Division will continue to offer programs that are exclusive to Student Services.

Division departments will meet deadlines for having annual assessment results posted to the online assessment tracking system (OATDB).

Department entries in the OATDB will serve as the indicator. By September 1, 2013, 100% of departments will have the OATDB entries complete.

As of September 30, 20014, only three departments had failed to complete their entries.

As of September 30, 20014, only three departments had failed to complete their entries. These departments were notified and follow-up will occur on the date of closing, October 1, 2014 if all entries have not been made.
