Provide a marketing strategy that reaches high schools, prior and current military service members, community colleges, and SHSU students. We will support the newly created Veteran's Resource Center on campus. We will include our website, the availability of the Veteran's Resource Center and outreach to Active Duty soldiers as part of our marketing, advertising and information strategies.

Cadets will learn basic and advanced leadership skills as they progress throughout school. Leadership responsibilities will increase as the Cadets progress from freshman to senior year. We will maximize the use of professional online leader development forums. This will connect Cadets with Lieutenants serving throughout the world as well as with Cadets from the United States Military Academy and ROTC programs throughout the country.

The Blue Card Assessment method was used at LDAC, where 8 SHSU Cadets received an overall rating of "E" higher percentage versus the national average. 10 Cadets received Active Duty Commissions, and 8 Cadets earned the Distinguished Military Graduate award.
