The examination assesses knowledge about SHSU and its resources.

At Least 80% To Pass
Team members must score at least 80% on the exam to remain a member of the new student orientation team.

Passing
All members of the Orientation Team (100%) scored at least an 80% or above on the written and oral exam, being deemed ready to be on the Orientation Team. Common errors included administrator titles and details of SHSU traditions.

Staff will be informed of updates/changes that may occur through out the summer that may be used to assist a student in their transition to Sam Houston State University. Training will focus more intensely on administrator titles and tradition details to ensure knowledgeable team members.

Approximately 2000 phone calls were made. The process is all manual coding. Calls are currently still being made with assistance from other offices.
