Human Resources will be reviewing the rate of completion regarding the processing of Payroll Action Forms to the Payroll Office by the Payroll deadline.

Criterion
Process 100% of Payroll Action Forms received prior to the Payroll deadline to the Payroll Office
Human Resources will review and make any corrections/changes as necessary to 100% of the Payroll Action Forms received within the prescribed Payroll deadlines and forward them to the Payroll Office in a timely manner.

Human Resources processed 99% of all the Payroll Action Forms by the Payroll deadline. At times, this required shifting resources to concentrate on this task as many documents arrive shortly before the deadline.

Departments are encouraged to process Payroll Action Forms in a timely manner to avoid delays in setting employees up on payroll items. Information is communicated via web and memos regarding cut-off deadline for Payroll Action Forms to engage departments in successfully processing of the Payroll Action Forms. The Human Resources Department plans to continue this training effort with departments to improve the timeliness of when documents are received.

Human Resources will be reviewing the rate of completion regarding the processing of Personnel Requisition Forms and the posting of job openings.

Human Resources will process 100% of the Personnel Requisition Forms received and post the job openings within 3-5 days after receiving a completed and approved Personnel Requisition Form.

Due to the continued and sustained growth of the University employment has steadily increased resulting in the creation of new job classification descriptions requiring more than 3-5 days to post the position due to collection of needed data.

Working with People Admin to enhance the classification position description process to have descriptions more frequently updated. This system will also provide an interactive web system for departments to submit new position information.

Human Resources will process 100% of Retirement Program tax-sheltered salary reduction agreements and check for compliance, correcting errors as necessary before finalizing each payroll period.

Human Resources processed 100% of all properly completed Retirement Program tax-sheltered salary reduction agreements before finalizing each payroll period. There are cases when improperly completed retirement documents are received and cannot be processed to Payroll before corrections are made.

Human Resources will review the department website and update the information as necessary in order to maintain pertinent and accurate information.

Human Resources will review the department website and make necessary changes/updates based on applicable policy law and rule changes each academic semester and new fiscal year.

Human Resources made the needed changes and updates to our website information based on applicable policy law and rule changes. A Customer Service Satisfaction survey was added to the HR website.

Update to previous cycle's plan for continuous improvement

Plan for continuous improvement In reviewing our processes we have determined this year has been a time of positive changes in the Human Resources Department. We have focused our attention on increasing and improving our services to employees by adding a Customer Service Satisfaction Survey to our website and utilizing the feedback received; reevaluating and revising our Mission, Core Values, and Vision Statements; providing more benefit presentations to employees; and most importantly, communicating our new objectives and availability to employees through periodic email communications.

It is our vision to provide the highest standard of excellence in Human Resources support and service, promoting an environment which encourages all employees to achieve their personal and professional goals as we work toward achieving the University's mission.
