Goal
Quality And Effectiveness
Prepare students for employment as managers of adult fitness settings including private health clubs, YMCAs, and corporate wellness programs.

Offer appropriate courses in the curriculum(core, degree specific, major, and minor) which adequately prepare students to work in the fitness setting.

Measurement And Assessment
The following will be collected for measurement and assessment: student??????s overall grade point average, student??????s major grade point average, student??????s minor grade point average, and passing rate for any health or fitness related certification exam.

Success will be represented by ??????Overall, major, and minor grade point average 0f 2.0 or greater. ??????Seventy percent passing rate on health or fitness certification exams.

Health BA Fitness students with a grade point average of 2.0 or greater in their major and minor successfully met the target and was approved for graduation. None of the Health BA Fitness students took the health or fitness certification exams during the 2007-2008 academic year.

Target met. All of the faculty made at least two or more professional presentations during the 2007-2008 academic year. Travel funds were increased from $1000.00 to $1200.00 per faculty member.
