Student assessment of faculities has improved over previous year with the addition of the computers in the Design Studio space (AB2-Room 315), however the space is crowded with additional resource materials that are difficult to keep organized.

Continue to provide a broad range of networking opportunities for interior design students working on the BS degree. Emphasize to students that networking during their term at Sam Houston should start when they enter the program and includes all classroom guest speakers, participation in professional organization activities and contacts made during an internship experience. Several students who indicated a lower level of satisfaction with networking opportunities were also looking for internships in more distance communities where there was no previous internship connection made by the program.

Of the students working on the BS degree there were several who were commuters or were employed who could not make the meeting times established by the professional organization. This had a great affect on the outcome of the findings in this area.
