A review of the curriculum was conducted in the spring semester of 2008. The review resulted in recommendations to add two new courses and renumber courses in the Marketing program. See attached supporting files.

The Department was able to fill three tenure track positions with Academically Qualified faculty which allowed for a 24.4% increase in the percentage of Academically Qualified faculty. Two vacant positions were filled by Academically Qualified individuals for 2008-09. This will maintain the percentage of classes taught by Academically Qualified faculty for the next academic year.

Even though the Department experienced a 35% increased in the percentage of faculty which are Academically or Professionally Qualified, we fell just short of the established target. The Department fell short of the target. Seventy-eight of the faculty published at least one refereed journal article or a conference proceedings. However, 94% of the tenure track faculty had at least one publication. Those individuals who did not publish were individuals with terminal contracts or adjunct faculty.
