The goal of BLC is to provide effective academic support to the students in order to help them achieve academic success.

Bearkat Learning Community students will be retained at a rate equal to or greater than other freshmen.

Although BLC students attempted and successfully completed more hours than other freshmen (statistically significant difference)there was not a statistically significant difference in GPA.
