Department of Family and Consumer Sciences will graduate students who are satisfied with a degree in general family and consumer sciences.

At least 70% of supervisors of family and consumer sciences interns will indicate that they would hire the intern given the availability of a suitable entry-level position.

80% of intern supervisors indicated a rating score of 3.5 or higher on a 5.0 scale to indicate their satisfaction with the intern. The lowest score given was 3.48/5.0.

Students graduating from the family and consumer sciences program will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level positions in the field.

The Exit Survey for family and consumer sciences majors includes a section that tests retention of course material; it is graded on a pass/fail basis.

At least 80% of students who complete the family and consumer sciences programs's Exit Survey will score a grade of Pass or High Pass.
