Goal
1. Quality education, scholarship and service
To provide full support combined with continual improvement in the quality of education, scholarship, and service, in compliance with the mission of the university.

1. Broad Knowledge Of Core Material
Students will obtain a broad knowledge and understanding of the structure and functions of the various components of the criminal justice system.

Indicator
Program Goals Achieved
Program Exit Exam will be conducted prior to graduation and analyzed annually to measure student's confidence in obtaining substantive material competence.

Positive Program Exit Survey
At least 70% of students will achieve a grade of "C" or higher.

Finding
Senior Graduate Survey
Over 75% of grauating seniors reported being satisfied or very satisfied with education in criminal justice.

Action
Review and Revise
Review results of the Senior Exit Exam and revise curriculum as needed.

2. Preparation for higher education
To provide students with the foundation for talents necessary to prepare for higher education and eventually succeed in both the criminal justice profession and society.

Senior Exit Exam
70% or higer of the criminal justice seniors will achieve a grade of "C" or higher.

Satisfaction With Education
A Senior Graduate Survey will be distributed to graduating seniors ranking their satisfaction with the education in criminal justice.

Senior Graduate Survey
At least 75% of graduating seniors will report being satisfied or very satisfied with education in criminal justice.

Yes, At least 70% of students have achieved a grade of "C" or higher.

Increase Satisfaction
2007-2008 goal will be 80% or greater satisfaction with education in criminal justice.

4. Ability to achieve professional goals
To provide students with the ability to achieve the professional goals of criminal justice.

Successful CJ Job Placement
Over half of the graduating seniors will report successful criminal justice employment expected after graduation.

50% or more graduating seniors report obtaining criminal justice related employment and/or attendance in graduate school at the time of graduation.

50% or higher of graduating seniors reported job employment in the criminal justice field.
